I'm using an N810. When I go to youtube, it says that I either have
javascript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. How can
I fix this?

Does anyone know how to install evince on a Nokia N810? It is listed in
the catalog but when I try to install it, it always says that
libhildonfm2 is missing. I've gone to a site that lists a lot of
repositories and it says the chinook maemo.org repository has the lib
(and there is a temporay chino
How do you establish root access on the N810? I don't recall setting up
a root password. When I type:

It says "applet requires root privileges." If I try to use sudo, it asks
for a password.
Once I get past this, how do I install apt?

I flashed the latest version of maemo (the last one before Diablo). I've
also installed a lot of extra software. Now the N810 resets itself a lot
but I can't discern why or how to fix it.

I am trying to install several updates but I get a message that I don't
have enough memory. One of the updates is an OS2008 update. Do I have
any options other than removing apps to free up space? Is there any way
to store apps in the internal memory or an external memory card?

I've had my Nokia N810 since May and in the last several weeks I've
noticed that some of the keys on the right hand side show scratch marks
from opening and closing the sliding keyboard. Has anyone else noticed
this?

I used the method set up by penquinbait to clone the OS onto a 4gb
external memory card. This has worked very nicely - at least until a few

Yesterday I noticed there was an OS2008 release upgrade so I installed
it - only to find out after the reboot that the boot menu (that allows
booting from the external memory card on the N810 running Diablo) was
removed. At least I could no longer bring up the menu at boot. I was
