N800/OS2008 lingering issues

I have been running OS2008 version 2.2007.50-2 since it was released on my N800 and have two issues that are very annoying. Whenever I hit the refresh application list in the application manager one of two things happens it either hangs downloading or it fails on maemo extras. Retrying some sm
