works perfectly! computers are *so* not deterministic...

Hmm. If rebooting doesn't help (remove the battery to get a cold
reboot), you might simply try installing osso-xterm again, if you
haven't done that

Indeed. Looks like you're stuck. You can't even ssh there since you
need the command prompt to get sshd up. To me, it looks like it's
time to re-flash. Maybe someone comes up wit
