I might have a clue now: I have been on vacation on the lovely Dutch
island Texel where we enjoyed having a free WLAN connection and guess
what: all worked there with no changes to any of my settings. This
seems to indicate that the trouble is caused by the WLAN router / ADSL
provider???

This repository is your problem, and you can't disable it via the App Manager.
You can manually ed
I hand typed that message, so that was a type.
This issue occurs for all repos I add, also for repo’s that are added via
.install files.
