Try sending a shorter message first, less than 25 characters. If you
get the same error then contact the recipient's carrier. This is not
a fault of maemo or your mail client. SMS has a hard limit of 160
characters, no exceptions.

Your email, including headers that weren't stripped during the
conversion to SMS, most likely exceeded the 160 character limit that's
part of the SMS

I created a shorter joser...@gmail.com and like the previous
jose.r.var...@gmail.com, worked for the first several messages, then
got the Message from JRV is too long and has been shortened.
Anyone else had this and fixed, let me know.
