Greetings,
About Geeqie being abandonned too, this is sad news. I kind of liked
the idea of an actively developped project, if only to avoid bitrot
(the GTK2->3 may require some work in the not-so-far future, for
example)
Too bad, and thank you for the heads-up.
Best regards,
Priscus.

True I didn't even realise that there is also a 'wine' package in addition
to 'wine64' and 'wine32'.
'wine32' seems to contain all that's needed to run win32 apps (at least I

Geeqie is almost dead too these days (on the ML all initial devs recently
said they don't have time anymore to dedicate to it, also s.o. else seems
to have cloned the code to github and is working on it separately so
currently there are several svn/git versions floating around), personally
I'm no

but they can be, or at least the current Mageia packages allow it:
$ rpm -qa|grep wine
wine64-1.3.15-1.mga1

Greetings,
Hello from an old Mandrake user and lurker, and now Mageia hopeful.
I am very certainly too late for the Alpha 2, but this may be useful
for next round:
GQView has been abandonned by its author since 2006: there is an
actively developped fork, Geeqie (http://geeqie.sourceforge.net/

This is bogus as in Mandriva.
It enforces installing wine, thus loosing 64b support on x86_64
by removing wine64 in favor of wine.
