I have two PC IBM, that hard lock at boot with both Mandriva 2010.x and
Mageia. It works nicely with an Ubuntu 9.04 , so there is no hardware problem.
Then I suppose a kernel compilation choice is the responsible. I tried all the
noapic nolapic noacpi things.
How can I debug that,
