wrapper around one or more spell checkers such as aspell or hunspell.
As such, it requires very little maintenance in return for very
useful functionality.

improved. The Dutch spelling and grammar project ‘Opentaal’ is in close contact
with the people behind Hunspell.
One other remark: Abiword depends on Enchant for its spellchecking capabilities.
