This isn't a wrong link actually, this is a new feature - though it does appear
that it's not working properly.
The Edit Group Membership link should allow you to choose which groups a
particular user belongs to.

Ahem - I pushed one fix, then on re-reading I discovered that the link
shouldn't be there unless the site has controlled and/or invite groups.
I've pushed a subsequent fix which reverts my initial fix and instead
corrects the template.
