Using git bisect, I traced it to the JSDetector:
https://reviews.mahara.org/#/c/1800/
Given how many problems the JSDetector has caused, and that we're not
even using it currently, I'm in favor of just reverting it. I'll file a
bug for that.

It changes the paginator from using the surrounding 's innerHTML,

I don't have a copy of IE9 at hand, but I was able to replicate this
problem using IE10 with the Developer Tool browser emulation settings
set to simulate IE9.
To replicate:
1. Launch IE10. Press F12 to open the developer tools. Press Ctrl-8 to see the
emulation settings. Set Document mode to "9
As mentioned by the bug reporter, this problem doesn't occur in other
browsers. I specifically found it to work successfully in Firefox on
Ubuntu, and in IE10 on Win7pro.
I also tested it in earlier versions of IE and found that it doesn't
work in any emulation mode earlier than IE10. Though since
Note: According to the Mahara 1.8 README it supports IE 8, 9, and 10.

where you can choose the cell and position within the cell.
This would probably involve adding a new pieforms element for the cell

Actually, no, on further inspection of the code, this would not happen.

whether the EXACT title you're requesting is in the array of returned
results.
So, the requested title "Air" would indeed find "Airlines of the 1950s"

As discussed further on in that forum thread, a number only gets
appended when a page of the same title already exists.
Well... sorta. What happens in the code is we call View::new_title()

I like this idea, although I think it would probably be most useful not
for end-users, but for potential site owners who've just downloaded the
software and are investigating it, trying to decide whether or not to
use it at their institution or not.
A softer variant on this same idea, is that samp

Yes, the example time zone formats in config-defaults.php do not both

I considered listing all legal timezone formats for Postgres & MySQL,
