For 2 days now I am not able to connect to git for updating my different
Mahara. On my servers a git pull returns
root@ubuntu:/var/www/html/mahara/htdocs# git pull
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.
Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repos

would be useful if they can also register:
* admin menu items
* institution admin menu items
* institution staff menu items
It will be a matter of duplicating the code that we use for right nav

We started using switchboxes instead of check boxes. This should be done
whereever possible and sensible in Mahara. It is not new functionality,
but a visual change.
The default strings to be used are "On" and "Off" whereever possible.

Perhaps it has something to do with the impending shutdown of Gitorious
at the end of May 2015? (See Bug 1430567.) But as far as I knew, the
service was supposed to continue working until then.
Well, since Gitorious is shutting down anyway, you may as well just
change to using the Github repo for

I've taken the step of importing all our Gitorious repositories into
Gitlab: https://gitlab.com/groups/mahara
We'll need to discuss at the next developer meeting whether we want to
use Gitlab as the replacement for Gitorious, or whether we want to find
a different service to use.

All wrong artefacts in myportfolio.school were imported via leap2a in
2011.
The Leap2A import feature was first introduced in mahara 1.2 (2009)

It'd be hard to find which old code caused this issue, and it seems
fixed in the newer version 1.3.0 (patches for attaching files in
blogposts)
I would only provide the database update for removing these wrong
artefacts from the internalmedia blocks

the problem is in lib/user.php function display_username(). somehow a $user
variable is passed in that is missing $user->username. so I suspect that the
$user variable is not a true $user object.
