Hi Richard,
When I have Search usernames off and a person can hide his real name
and does so in his settings, I only see their display name.
It's quite a bit of setting up. I'm looking forward to the changes

Whether the username is shown should be controllable in site options
with the Search usernames setting.
For a user to be able to have their real name completely hidden in
searches, Allow users to hide real names must be enabled in site
options, and the user must also have Hide real name enabled
