How easy is it to add a new bounce format?
My SMTP server sends all mai through the messagelabs virus scan
servers and 550 bounces for unrecognised addresses typically come
back in the format:
This is the mail delivery agent at messagelabs.com.
I was not able to deliver your message to the foll
would
be much easier to read.
i.e. couldn't it output:
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Name
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Label
...etc
as this format is acceptable on the mass subscription page.

Thanks for that. I'll follow it u

ones that are redirecting to me.
The offending email address is clearly identified in the bounced message
so it should be picked up. If not, I thought the default was to discard
it.
Interim solution is just to manual
g else not addressed to a user with a postbox.

Correct - this is what they look like
|test-bounces "/usr/local/mailman/mail/mailman

The problem manifests itself with IE6 and on RISCOS with Fresco and
Oregano. I haven't tried netscape yet.

t I go were a number of errors (from bsddb3 I think)
which complained that programs were linked to differen versions of a
library file.
I went back to trying to hack 2.1.1 into using email as I was concerned
that the libray errors were why my lit moderator pages wouldn't let me
confirm
min.py", line 31, in ?
from email.Utils import unquote, parseaddr
ImportError: No module named Utils
Is there some othe part of python 2.1 that I need to hack?
