I just put a new machine online running Trustix Linux 1.2, etc. etc. and
Mailman 2.0.3-J. Now I'm trying to add 250 users to a mailing list via the

Wow, when it rains it pours.
One person starts a discussion to add more qmail docs, then suddenly a
couple more people ask for help with qmail.
Another person asks if mailman will run on Windows, and suddenly a few more
people do the same.
I wish i knew how to use qmail or write python.

Greetings,
I have stock Qmail 1.0.3 running just fine as the MTA, and I have compiled
and integrated Mailman with Apache and created a test list. I have also
read the README.QMAIL that comes with the source.

The pipermail rule would look something like:
(all on one line)
NameTrans fn="pfx2dir" from="/pipermail"
dir="/home/mailman/archives/public/"
and the cgi might resemble:
NameTrans fn="cgi" from="/mailman" dir="/home/mailman/cgi-bin"

I am attempting to install Mailman and we use Netscape Enterprise Server 3.5
as our web server. I am having trouble setting up the permissions for the CGI
scripts and also pointing the webserver to the Pipermail public archives. Any
hints or advice that would put me on the right track.
