on my server mailman qrunner returns:
Database (2.4.9) != program (2.4.7) version.
I'm running mailman 2.0.5.
Any suggestions?

Hi Dominique,
There's a lot of "X" unknown factors based on your message below, but
here's a SWAG(tm) ... are you using tcpd? if so, what's your hosts.allow

i have set up mailman on my linux box and it also works fine as long as
i subscribe adresses from our own domain.
when i subscribe adresses from other domains i get an entry in my
maillog that says "we do not relay".
it has to do something with sending mail to an alias i.e. mylist-admin

I am managing 12 lists with about 40-60 subscribers per list, which have
recently been migrated from Majordomo to Mailman (due to a change at our
service provider). Many subscribers belong to most or all of the 12 lists.
The mailing lists are hosted by a third-party provider, so we do not have

Dear Mailman users:
This seems like it should be an FAQ but I couldn't find the question
answered anywhere. I'm running an archiving list using Mailman but
some users post email with HTML tags in it, and these appear verbatim
in the email archives - I see text like

in the html file
That all looks right to me.
The files are missing from the directory listing itself

Is this the most-requested feature, or what? People have been
asking for it (see the archives) for years. If I were a typical
whiner I'd ask "Why not just put it in?", but as a freeware
developer I know better -- I just don't know Python well
enough yet. :-) But hey, it really would be nice

My list works fine for about a month. Now suddenly every post is hold
because "Message has implicit destination". Ich changed nothing in the
Alias-names-Field of the privacy options, where I defined Tantra as

Any idea?

Is it feasible to change a user without deleting and re-adding them?
I didn't see a way of doing this (in 2.0.6, that is) and it looks as
though the email is used like a primary database key. It's just
a convenience thing, but a lot of my users change dialup accounts
fairly often.

There's a great patch on the sourceforge project site that will allow
you to strip out HTML from the list on a per list basis.

Try the following
Login as root
execute su - mail
Then try $ /home/mailman/mail/wrapper mailowner nip-system
You will see everything is ok.. So the gid for mail is 12 and that is the
gid expected.
At least with this you will be sure it´s not an instalation issue
I have the same problem an
Bram,
Here's somethings I did...
1) Do the install
--with-mail-gid=12.
2) make a link to
/home/mailman/mail/wrapper in the /usr/adm/sm.bin directory. (at
least that's where it was on mine). If a wrapper link exists, change the
name of this one to something else.
3) Take the /home/mai
