Hi,
If I use add_members -ninputfile -wn listname, and input file contains
members that are already in the target list, will mailman try to add
duplicates, or is it smart enough only add those that don't already exist?

Last night was too exciting. I wanted to incorporate archives of an old
list that I had converted to mailman a few months back. I found a Mailman
FAQ at:

Every so often I check my trash and tehre are messages that were never even
read, let alone intentionally placed there by me.
Is this a know issue or does anyone know how I might be able to fix this??

I have setup mailman to use procmail by using the very cool FAQ on it, it
works great.
I am filtering mail based on the domain in the "From" header. If its the
right domain the mail may be posted to the list, if not it gets dumped into

using a web browser, a page comes up saying that no lists are
publicly-advertised on the server. However, I've created a couple of
lists, so I

Any idea how I can get mailmail to work with stripmime and sendmail?

Hello,
Sorry for the question that was probably asked 500 times, but i am failing
to find any info on that. I know that i was able to get rid of this extra
message when people subscribe and unsubscribe before, but do not remember
how i did it. Please help.

One of the lists I manage wound up in an infinite loop last night because
someone had an auto-response set up on their email. We had over 1000
messages inside a couple of hours. I know most email programs are set up to
avoid auto-response problems like this, but is there a way to check if it's
