[Mailman-Users] Search function?

I'm a subscriber to many mailing lists that use the Mailman software and 
wondered if there was a complementary program for searching archives 
produced by Mailman? If not on the server side, perhaps a small program that 
searched locally after downloading the archive files? Just wanted to check 
before I start writing something. Thanks.
