I was wondering if anyone is monitoring the through put, queue levels,
totals count of there listserv box/boxes?
If so what are you using, web, command line, homemade, or off the shelf?
Also I am looking for stuff that would be related to exim/apache.

This is a good question, the configuration that I am running where I have
multiple instances of mailman running, there is a need for changeing the
Default url and the Private archive url. Having this done at ./configure
line helps alot, build a script to run the script, automation.

If you go into the mailman/Mailman dir there is a file Default.py, this is
where the syntax for defining stuff is.
This same line can be used in the mm_cfg.py file, it is here the user/SA can
make mods.
In mm_cfg.py file put.
DEFAULT_URL ='http://your url/something/'

I would like to change the directory that mailman is in, but when doing a
newlist, the echo comes up with /var/mailman/mail/wrapper
Where would I change this?
I found a spot in Default.py but not sure if this is the only spot that
needs to be changed.

Someone posted a comment about having multiple directories of mailman, to
create a grouping or hierarchy.
If this is done, what would the entries look like for the cgi-bin in
relation to ScriptAlias and the pipermail Alias.

the list archives.
Is there away to make the archives show the attachment as a downloadable
file, such as pdf?

To change the footer or logo area in listinfo, you need to look at
/var/mailman/Mailman/Cgi/listinfo.py
There is a call there towards the bottom doc.AddItem(MailmanLogo()) this
goes to
/var/mailman/Mailman/htmlformat.py also toward the bottom is the MailmanLogo
Read though it and you will see
