Has anyone done any work on modifying Mailman 2.1 so that when a user tries to create a mailing list it authenticated them against an LDAP server and uses an LDAP attribute such as 'mail' to populate the list owner address field?
It would also be nice to have a way of logging in as said list owner (authenticating against LDAP) and getting a list owner screen showing all the lists they own. Any helpful tips if/when I do it myself would be appreciated.
