I think your MTA does not know the user-id/name using which it should run
the Mailman alias commands.
I mean, suppose your Mailman is ocnfigured with uid "mailman" and your MTA
is postfix, then postfix should know that it should execute all the
mailman related alias commands as user "mailman"

If yes, run
bin/list_lists -a
in the home of mailman.
Otherwise try /mailman/listinfo on the server the lists are stored.
