I have some accounts where the Inbox rules are first a set of rules that
each check for a certain value in a header field (often, the 'List-ID'
field), and if so, add a keyword to the message and move it to a
list-specific mailbox. Then there's a rule that, if the the 'To' and

Thanks Benny, indeed my 2 Deleted Messages submailboxes (2 separate
accounts) were offline for 20 months (the main Deleted Messages mailbox
did not indicate Offline, so I did not check the status of the sub
mailboxes). Any idea why these 2 mailboxes (and no the others) went

I have the exact same annoying problem (and I don’t know where this
dollar comes from), and I’d be happy to know how to solve it.

Folks, my employer puts all links in emails through some filter that
transforms the link to have a "$" at the end. MailMate seems to not
recognize that the "$" is part of the link and leaves it off the
underlined portion. This means clicking on links in MailMate virtually
never works for me
I’ve now been able to download and install MailMate v1.14 (5844), so
the worst of the problem stated below is now fixed.
Still hoping that MM can at some point connect to those 2 Microsoft mail
servers. What’s the problem?

Indeed, it would be even better if we could run rules on a single

For now, you can use the “View ▸ Apply...” and the `MmDebugRules`
hidden preference.

I run Monterey 12.0.1. I don’t have MacOS 12.1, but should I update to 12.1 for better compatibility with MailMate? I looked at the About MailMate window. It said I had 5835 installed. Then I looked at the Updates window. It said I should downgrade to 5637. So I did that. Big mistake apparently.
Is there a way to have Mailmate display a word count of what’s in the compose
window? A live count would be brilliant (eg, live enough to increment each time
I type a word) but even a ‘select and right click to get a word count’ function
would be useful.
( Detail: I suppose I’d want it to
And next in single step capable debugger :))
