All,
One of the most useful features in Mailmate is the ability to show all messages
in the same conversation/thread, but that feature doesn’t work as expected when
you use it after having conducted a search.
For example, if you search for all messages sent by j...@example.com, select

All,
Just an update on this. Mailmate is now working after my university IT
department enabled both IMAP and SMTP on my Office 365 account. Those settings
must have been reset to off when the IT department made some recent changes.
Thanks,

Hi all,
I’m writing to see if anyone has advice for how to troubleshoot Mailmate’s
compatibility with Office365.
Up until a few months ago, Mailmate worked just fine for me (great, even!) with
my work’s Exchange-based email server. Mailmate would pull up my university’s
credentialing website,
All,
Apologies for the very basic question, but is there a way to automatically sort
sub-mailboxes alphabetically? At some point, I must have sorted mine manually,
but now I’d like them to just appear alphabetically without having to manually
keep the list sorted (e.g., when I add new
If you use Alfred (a great replacement for Spotlight), it also manages
your clipboard for you and allows you to paste very easily without
formatting. You use option-command C to pull up Alfred’s clipboard
list, and then select which of your recent clipboard items you want to
paste, and hit

Hi Benny and all,
I’m wondering whether there’s any chance that Mailmate will
implement Autocrypt? Thunderbird and a few other mail clients now
implement it.

Here’s how the website describes it:

All,
I’m trying to change the line height and color of fonts used in both
the message preview pane and the composer window. But the line-height
editor is grayed out, and the color selector doesn’t have any effect
on the actual color of the fonts.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,

All,
I know that format=flowed has come up several times on the list in the
past, but I’m continuing to experience issues related to it because
all of my colleagues use Outlook (for Mac), which does not support
format=flowed.
The result is that my emails to them display with unwanted line
Just registering my agreement on this. It would be great to be able to make the

I agree with Jan that this functionality would be great. I’ve used it
on Thunderbird, and it’s quite nice.

Hi all,
I’m wondering if there’s a way to search across lines in the compose
view. Specifically, does the search interface have a way of searching
for a newline (or carriage return?) character?
The reason I’m trying to do this is somewhat arcane. I’ve noticed
that MailMate seems to increase

Absolutely agree about the customizability. It’s the best email client I’ve
used, with little question.

Is there any keyboard shortcut to quickly focus the cursor in Mailmate on the
message list?
So much of the power of Mailmate is in the ability to quickly manage email from
the keyboard, but that relies in part on being able to quickly focus on the
message list. In my still-limited use of
