Of possible use to others, I discovered a simple method for copying a
selection from a message body so as to preserve multiple hyperlinks
within the selection:
Message > "Edit as New Messsage" opens the message in a window from
which you copy a selection, including its hyperlinks.

When you reply to a message in which you have selected some text, most
email clients will quote in the reply only the selected text rather than
