You can turn that warning off in user preferences (composer tab). I
personally find it useful.
The warning is useful, the complaint is about the "MTV" style of

Have been using MM Version 1.13.2 (5673) & Big Sur 11.1 on my MacBook
Pro (156-inch, 2018) with SpamSieve, which worked wonderfully. However
late yesterday SpamSieve (version 2.9.42) stopped processing new mail.
Junk mail pours into my inbox and none of the new mail has a spam score.

Several days ago Mailmate 1.13.2 started freezing on Monterey 12.3.1
running on Macbook Pro M1 Max (16 inch, 2021), memory 64GB.
Freezes widely variable but sometimes as often as every 5-10 minutes.
Freezes don’t resolve with time; only fix is to force quit and
restart.

pro, MM started crashing as you described.
Benny told me to try MM Version 1.14 (5887). I did, and since then no
crashes.
I currently run OS Monterey 12.5 on Macbook pro 16-inch, 2021.
