Just a short update version 5975 fixed the problem.
Now the correspondences view only sows mails that belong to the email thread
and not fully unrelated emails.

This is working fine with me in 5971 on an intel Mac
If you want to provide me more info of the issue I can try to reproduce
the issue
“Experimental” Build 5970 works fine for me in this regard.
All layouts in the Message view actually are fine (Correspondence,
Statistics, Threaded Arcs, Three Panes, Two Panes, Widescreen),
producing no crashes or other anomalies for me.

I find it noteworthy that these are of a lower priority than “Test
Builds” and so might be buggier. Will wait for a more stable Test
Build to try out and use as extensively as currently needed.

* Shows a bunch (>30) of emails that definitely not form a conversation
* I can't mark unread messages as read
