Benny,
Thanks for the clue of looking in the Sources.plist file. This shows
how MailMate sees the imap account in question. Instead of the expected
/ assumed 'imap://first.l...@server.com', what I saw instead was
'imap://first.last%40server@imapserver.server.com'

Could you provide the exact error?
I notice that Jonathan also has an account
Kee,
For the mail account or the representation of the account within
MailMate? This particular account definitely needs the period as trying
to login without it there causes a login failure.

Is the dot really required? Most mail servers ignore it in emai
Just to note, I have tried escaping the period in the account portion
(i.e. first\.last) and I've also tried urlencoding the period (i.e.
first%2Elast) to no avail.

Benny,
I was playing around with this yesterday after seeing Jonathan's
message.
I think I may have run across an issue.
If I use the full imap:// format, I can successfully save to an
account that has no period in the account portion of the imap address

Ted,
I've never created any subfolders within Gmail, so I can't comment on
the behavior there. I actually only use the Inbox. Anything I need to
keep, I archive locally in a MySQL database using MailSteward Pro :)
You are correct on the nested keybindings. I personally don't use

Ted,
Rather than have a nested binding, try just setting your key binding
to "^c".

Hi, all --
I was really pleased to stumble onto Mailmate, and it looks like I'm
coming from a similar place as others on this list: a mutt-lover who
also needs a GUI client. So, first, thanks to Benny for your work.
I'm trying to figure out the 'moveToMailbox' keybinding for an imap
account,
