Hi,

I'm hoping that someone on this list can give me some advice or guidance. I
work for a hosting provider, where our outgoing email to MS has in recent
times been more frequently delayed with the following messages:

451 4.7.500 Server busy. Please try again later from
451 4.7.650 The mail server [xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx] has been temporarily rate
limited due to IP reputation.

Some information about our infrastructure, which may help:

- We currently make use of SpamExperts to filter outgoing mail
- We are signed up for SNDS and JMRP and attend to the FBL complaints.
- We make use of the data in the SNDS dashboard
- We do our best to find and stop any outgoing spam sources.
- Our outgoing IPs are warmed up.

Our customers are being negatively affected by these delays and oftentimes
we're not able to confirm the cause or reason for the apparent rate
limiting. We don't have similar issues with the other bigger providers, eg.
Mimecast, Yahoo, Gmail. Is there anything we can do to limit this from
happening other than what we're already doing?

Thanks!
Stephan
