*Position :** Network Security Engineer* *Location : Staten Island, NY * *Duration : 6+ Months* *Interview : Phone Then Face To Face* *Job Description:* · Perform network security design and integration through proper configuration of VPN and Firewalls · Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices · Maintain all network documentation · Perform regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions · Monitor network usage, anticipate potential problems, and suggest solutions · Maintain proper backups for all network systems and devices · Manage network related projects and maintenance tasks in EMS (ticketing system) *Job Responsibilities:* - Minimum of 3 years of relevant job experience - Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) – Routing and Switching, Security or Datacenter, or Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) or equivalent certification from other vendors - Intermediate to expert understanding of firewall configuration and maintenance - Hands-on technical experience working with VPN technologies (IPSEC, SSL VPN, WebVPN, AnyConnect, etc) - Understanding and implementation of network traffic analysis - Knowledge of VoIP implementation and support - Hands-on experience in rack mounting and wiring devices according to industry standards. Cables patching and management.
