Job Description

•          The Project Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and
coordinating projects in the Technology department and works closely with
the Business Functions to document and confirm project scope and
deliverables and obtains functional project resources. The Project Manager
monitors all major project activities and reports status back to IT,
business owners, project sponsors, and/or project champions.

•          People or Process Management Responsibility:

•          The Project Manager is an individual contributor, responsible
for planning, managing, and coordinating projects in the Information
Technology department and works closely with the Business Functions to
document and confirm project scope and deliverables and obtains functional
project resources.



Job Responsibilities

•          Develops and executes project deliverables, milestones and
required tasks and helps determine priority, scope, time frames, costs,
risks and staffing requirements for projects.

•          Works with end-users, program managers, architects, and
engineers to define scope and objectives of projects (Charters) by
developing and maintaining a team environment.

•          Ensures that EPMO standards and procedures for project reporting
and documentation are in place, that project adheres to those standards and
procedures, and confirms project tasks/deliverables are completed using
established documentation, development and change control procedures.

•          Any other duties as assigned.



Job Requirement

•          Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science or like
discipline, or equivalent experience.

•          Ability, aptitude, and drive to learn project management with on
the job training, self-learning, and some formal training (*PMP preferred*).

•          2+ years’ experience in SDLC *(Software Development Life Cycle)
and EPMO (Enterprise Project Management Office)* methodologies, with the
ability to multitask and manage multiple cross-functional projects.

•          Ability to manage projects from concept to implementation.

•          Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.

•          Excellent verbal communication skills, including the
demonstrated ability to listen and to communicate effectively and
persuasively with individuals and in presentations to groups.

•          Excellent written communication skills, including the
demonstrated ability to clearly, concisely, and persuasively compose
correspondence and reports that communicate messages consistent with
company policy to both internal and external audiences, using appropriate
tone, grammar, and word
usage.

•          Proficient in Microsoft Office.

•          This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

•          Understands how their department contributes to their
location/DC’s overall financial objectives

•          Uses financial information and knowledge to assist daily
decision making
