*Duration: 7 months* *Interview: Phone and Face to Face* *Position Overview:* • Under little supervision, the Client Server Engineer will configure, enhance, and operates the enterprise client/server infrastructure, diagnostic tools, automation, and recovery systems using standard or proprietary scripting and programming utilities. • As a Client Server Engineer, you will be responsible for: · Monitoring, controlling, and supporting the maintenance of PC/server operating systems, related utilities, hardware and back-office systems. · Leading technical team and supports major bank projects as DSS point of contact. · Creating monitoring guidelines, thresholds, and required responses for distributed systems. Has complete understanding of Line-Of-Business operations and works closely to improve operations. · Providing to management; written reports, technical white papers and oral presentations on system operational issues/concerns. Responsibilities: • Focuses on Test Data Center (TDC) operations. Understanding of operating principles, service requirements and failure impacts. Creates operational procedures, policies and processes for TDC. • May be required to serve as lead for technical team, project or group. • Researches and evaluates, personal computer and server operating systems, related utilities, hardware, back-office systems or new technologies. • Provides tier III level support for PC (mobile) or server issues that come through the customer support center. • Releases new technologies as well as installs, configures, maintains, and performs system integration testing of PC/server, related utilities, hardware, and back-office systems. • Assists in determining equipment settings and operating instructions and maintaining operating records.
