S/he works as a member of a multi-functional SCRUM team and serves as a DB2 DB expert to the team. The SCRUM team consists of: SCRUM master, business analyst, quality assurance analysts, data movement/ETL developers, data quality developer. The stakeholders of the SRUM team are: architecture team, product owner, and process modeling team, front-end application team, middle-tier team, infrastructure and operations team, data management team. Duties will include, but not limited to: - Installing and optimizing physical models to the DB2 DB(s) for an OLTP system. - Optimizing the performance of the OLTP DB(s) to support a 3-tier system architecture, utilizing indexing, partitioning and in-memory data grid - Designing and implementing data management processes: security, lifecycle management and operational readiness. - Designing and implementing data conversion solutions via DB2 -SQL. - - Integrating and optimizing DB2 DB with In Memory Data Grid (IMDG) for performance at high transaction volumes.
