We have an Network Admin position open for Bethesda, MD location. Could you
please share profiles
Job Description:
1. Configuring Internet router, Wireless accesspoint, Wireless Controllers
and switches
2. Configuring network printers and other shared printers including 802.1x
authentication
4. Analysing the bandwidth utilization of the WAN and LAN circuit
3. IP address management for many branch offices
4. Coordinating with Internet service providers / WAN Service provider of
MPLS connectivity for ciurcuit failure, performance issues and other
commisioning of new circuit related activities.
5.based on user apps understand the operations and badwidth requirement for
each site
6. Raising tickets with vendors (Servic providers like Megapath, netfor,
broadband providers)
7. Resolving the incidents (tickets) assigned by the users for various IT
operations related issues
8. User phone configuration, Voice mail and other basic voice related
configuration and troubleshooting
9. Coordinating with voice service provider
10.Voice Mail issue - password, reset, instrucations to access voicemail,
voicemail box clearance
11.Maintaining the inventory of all the network devices inlcuding printers
12.Maintaining circuit details, contact person details and escalation
matrix of the Service providers
13.Maintaining the Site contact detail, address. Reaching the site contact
in case of emergency or site not rechable condition
Devices needs to manage :
Internet routers: Broadband router (netopia, Linksys, Netgear)
Megapath MPLS : Broadband router (netopia,Linksys, Netgear)
Wireless access pOint : small busienss wireless access point (Linksys,
Netgear, TP Link)
Switch : unmanaged switches or basic web managed switches (Cisco linksys,
DLink, Digisol etc)
configuraiton not required in most cases other than configuring
management IP address
Printers : Network Printer ( IP address configurable printers), Network
shared printer( Printer attached to a computer and shared to other users)
