As User Experience professional and background on Front-end Web Design and Development, you have a strong technical and visual design background and work closely with Architects, UX/UI Visual Designers, Developers and internal Business users. Using your design aesthetic and technical knowledge, you bridge the gap between the visual design and the technical execution in order to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging experiences for a variety of projects. Ideal skill set: - Visual Design -- Designing visually appealing, engaging, and responsive designs(Twitter Bootstrap) using skill at combining graphic elements, typography, and grid-based layouts. Cross-team collaboration on various design-focused technology solutions - User Experience Design -- Creating and iterating wireframes and style-guides. Advising on user experience principles using your knowledge of information architecture concepts, and data you gather from implementing usability tests. Developing a reusable HTML based code for various common visual patterns and designs. - Web/Mobile Development -- Turning UX designs into the final product using HTML, CSS, JQuery and JavaScript, with an emphasis on responsive web design. Must understand the mobile-first design concepts, should have knowledge of best SEO practices and Web API practices, and always focused on effectively incorporating these into work. Primary Skills: UX – Front end design (mobile/web) utilizing User Centered Design Additional Skills: Axure, Balsamiq, Usability Analysis Qualifications: - Degree in Human Computer Interaction or Computer Science or UX Certification from accredited school - 5+ years Web/Mobile design and programming experience and User Experience related work experience - Must understand the mobile-first design concepts, should have knowledge of best SEO practices and Web API practices, and always focused on effectively incorporating these into work. - Self-motivated to develop new skills and passionate about following the latest technology, web usability concepts, and design trends - Ability to work with design and development teams in a collaborative, dynamic environment - Excellent creative and analytical skills. - Internal user/developer interaction and presentations.
