In a usual client implementation, they receive X number of data files (pharmacy or medical claims) that are then check for quality and move to the data warehouse. In this particular implementation, they are upgrading their SAS data warehouse. On the day to day, this consultant will be working SAS to import, validate and transfer medical claims data for the client to the and then loading into their SAS 9.3/9.4 and SQL Server 2008 data warehouse. They will need to understand medical or pharmacy claims to answer questions regarding the data and be able to troubleshoot the issues that arise. This consultant will need to be able to develop new code and maintain the existing code.
