I believe Frye's misremembering of the end of the Aen. is in one of his
books on the Bible; I think it's "The Great Code," but I will check this
this evening.

A few weeks ago I was talking to Michael Putnam about the death of Turnus
and he happened to mention in passing that Northrop Frye read the ending of
the poem in terms of the impending marriage of Aeneas and Lavinia. I've
checked Anatonomy of Criticism and didn't find anything of the sort there.
