Has anyone else seen any major issues with using Filters ?
When I apply filters to layers in my package, it crashes the map server
process. It seems to have memory leak ? The process gets larger as I pan around
the map until it eventually crashes, dependant on the resources of the machine.

You installed 1.2 after uninstalling 1.1?
Try killing all the php-cgi.exe processes in the Task Manager. They may have
been leftovers from the 1.1 installation.

I have created a small app, in vb.net, that changes the default map and
weblayout to get cutom extents on startup. Based on a url parameter I use
the default layout and map or I modify the resources and make session
versions of the layout and map. I get all the desired results.
However, after i
Chris we were talking about WFS layers and trying to use them in a

coordinate systems other than WGS84?
I have a layer that is in IN83-EF and is being published with WMS I'm
trying to use that layer in another MGOS app in st

Just in case someone else hits this, it looks as if modification to the
fastCGI configuration parameters in httpd.conf, can 'solve' this problem.
Based on some other fastCGI problems people were experiencing, I added this
clause to my FastCGIConfig line:
-startDelay 45

One other difference: I'm running Apache on the Windows XP box. On the the
Windows 2003 SP1 servers, I'm running IIS. I think this is an access
permission problem in IIS. This is preventing me from using WFS. Does
anyone know how to correct this problem for IIS?

If you log into the "Site Administrator", there is an menu called
"Manage Pacakges".
This menu can be used to create a copy of the repositories.
You can use this method, if you have already divided the server into
folders.
You may then choose to create a package for only a subfolder.

Not 100% sure how the Site Admin works, but usually you must change the
ip of the server in the file called "webconfig.ini".
It should be present in the topmost webfolder (at least on a standard
installation).
I'm guessing that it still points to 127.0.0.1.
In that file you can also see the por

You can request a completely seperate map image from the server.
That map could be made so it contains the required polygon with a
highligt color.
It will be at least as slow as the method you have outlined.
There is no way this will work fast enough to be useable.
The problem is that the AJAX
The FDO has no dependency to the license, so there is no problem with a
trial version.
It is not enough to reference the Dll's. Some of the required Dll's are
NOT .Net dlls and cannot be referenced.
In fact the .Net dlls merely call the native Dll's.
You must manually copy ALL the dll's from a w
