Thanks for your information.
I would like to, but the power to make decisions is not on me, I was been
asked to do this.
BTW, I'm new with spatial data, is it take lots time to converting data to
oracle spatial?
or it's hard to maintain the server (data is continu upgrade)?

If you use king.Oracle provider, you could use King.FDO.Class and then use
table without spatial data: detailed procedure is described here:

I am also running AutoDesk MapGuide 6.3...we are in a transitional phase,
slowly moving our client's maps to MGOS. If I read correctly, these are
supposed to be able to run side-by-side. If this could be a source of my
problems, then I can push forward on the conversion process
Same issue here. Is there a solution or work around to this bug? If this bug
is not reported and it is not the fault of the DWF viewer I would create a
ticket on this Scott.

Hi,
Does it matter where you install Mapguide?
The host where i am about to install suggests installing in a different
folder so the repositries etc will get backed up - otherwise we will have to
back up the whole program files folder.
Any advice would be appreciated

You can use the administration interface to change the location for your
repository folders. So I would suggest installing the server in the default
location to save a little headache then copy the repository folder the new
location and change the path inside the admin area.

As mentioned, you can (and likely should) move your repository to a
location outside of the program files directory.
If you want to install MapGuide to an alternate location, Zac wrote up

The entire map becomes white?
The server crashes?
The map becomes blue?

We have successfully configured MGE 2009 with 1 Web Tier and 2 Load Balanced
MGE Servers so in theory this should be possible with 2.0. This included a
