will use a tiled mode similar to the google approach.

I just love this MapGuide Enterprise product. Hats off to the developers,
and the community volunteers.
I was wondering if there is an option to enable smooth panning as in Google
Maps: when you pan around in MapGuide map, it doesn't refresh (i.e. draw)

Seems redundant but it works better than try{}catch{} all over the
place. I can see using a variable to to field name making things more

You should call IsNull to check if the value is not null before calling
