I have built some of the FDO 3.3 providers from the 3.3 branch using VS2008 and
managed to pop them into the MG 2.0.2 FDO folder with success (after I had
installed the newest runtime) so you can half-way house it but, as you say, not

I changed my Settings in Site Admin and now the WMS server works.
I also found that I needed to change from localhost to my server name in the
KMLCONTENTFACTORY.PHP file.
Now to modify the sample code for use with my own data...

I think the developers guide with MapGuide has an UpdateFeatures example. That
is one way to do it. You would have to code your own page for the data entry of
course.
