iam using mapguide open source 2.0 (with .net 2.0+IIS 5.1)
and my operating sys wae win xp
while login to the mapguide server through this following link

Yes, that looks right.
You must also refresh the map (refresh/pan/zoom/etc.) in the browser via
javascript.
In addition to my other suggestions, you can also check the error log
for messages.
