I'm accessing it straight from the start menu - which seems to be using localhost (if that never works, perhaps someone should change the installer so it doesn't use it). I just tried using my ip, (and also tried 127.0.0.1 for the heck of it) but it didn't work eithersame thing. Andrew

Since you’re using an Apache install, it does not map to HTTP port 80 by default so you will probably have to use http://localhost:8008 for your URL’s. I suspect you’re actually hitting your IIS server by using just http://localhost Andy Morsell, P.E. Spatial Integrators, Inc. 47° 46' N 116° 49'

Not quite, from your observations it seems the main offender is the php_MapGuideApiEnvConfig.dll Looking at the source-code, you'll see the GetModuleHandleEx() API I mentioned being used.
