I'm accessing it straight from the start menu - which seems to be using localhost (if that never works, perhaps someone should change the installer so it doesn't use it). I just tried using my ip, (and also tried 127.0.0.1 for the heck of it) but it didn't work eithersame thing. Andrew

Not quite, from your observations it seems the main offender is the php_MapGuideApiEnvConfig.dll Looking at the source-code, you'll see the GetModuleHandleEx() API I mentioned being used.
