I think so, my 2.0.2 installation is still standard, I have not changed
anything except the King.Oracle DLL's?

For some reason, my 2.1 installation isn't returning any of my external
aliases with EnumerateUnmanagedData. The problem seems to be that my
aliases point to a mapped drive. I'm not sure if this actually works in
2.0, but I did see a trac for this issue that said it was fixed back in

False
0.1.1.0
3.3.0.0
KingOracleProvider.dll

right now, you get errors as soon as you try to edit a layer. It's not
exactly user-friendly, right now...
Commenting those out solved the problem, by the way. Thanks!

Yes I restarted the service, as well as the server when that didn't work.
Perhaps I made a mistake in entering some of the text in the providers.xml,
but I am not sure as the same thing works for 2.1. Can you perhaps send me
your entry for the King.Oracle provider in your providers.xml? Then I can

Marius,
did you try to restart MGService after making changes in providers.xml ?
I had the same problem ; setup King Oracle, modify providers.xml, blank in
MGStudio.
I restarted the service and everything was fine.

Hi Harris,
I have tried to get my MGOS 2.0.2 working with the latest King.Oracle
provider, but I am having difficulties with that. It works fine with 2.1. I
just replace the old DLL's with the new ones and then edit the providers.xml
file to reflect the new version on the 2.0.2 setup, but it does
Wouldn't a default install have installed all of the fdo's? Shouldn't
they all work out of the box?
