I have resolved the OverviewMap issue. In the previous release of
fusion/lib/OpenLayers/theme/default/style.css the
.olControlOverviewMapElement styling was commented out. It was uncommented
in the new version causing the MapExtentRectangle to be off-center.
Commenting the styling out again fix

My application worked rather nicely on test build 2.1 b4090 except for a
severe issue with FDO connections not being released. This FDO problem
appears to be resolved in test build 4114. Unfortunately, I'm encountering
some new problems.
Selection issues:

It turned out that the problem was actually cause by the autodesk raster
provider on a geo-tiff layer.
Reducing the pool size to 50 did how ever make the vector data load a hell
of alot faster :-), so thanks for that.
