They are hexadecimal numbers for the Alpha, Red, Green and Blue components of a color. These numbers range from 0 (00) to 255 (FF) HTML colors are usually prefixed with a hash (#) and usually don't have the alpha component, so to translate, strip the first 2 characters. eg. - #FF

On further investigation, your projection did work. I had the wrong map extents in my map resource. When I changed the coordinate system in Studio the 2nd time around, it automatically adjusted the extents of your map to reflect the change. (which is something i think would be great to have in
