Does Studio/Maestro directory structure affect server performance at all? For
example, does nesting of folders affect performance?

Performance is only a problem if you need to do a full listing of the
repository.
Maestro only request listings one level deep as you expand each folder node
for the first time.

Ok corrected the data issue. The order of the fields made all the
difference.
In the later version of MapGuide I had to put the Key field right before the
GEOMETERY column in the LayerDefinition xml - the only difference is that
the Order of the Properties moved the ID column in the Property Mapp

Sure, it would be possible. But what do you mean with package? A mgp with
data or do you mean an example project (VisualStudio) related to this
problem?
