Open your runtime map:
MgMap map = new MgMap(siteConnection);
map.Open(Request.Form.Get("MAPNAME"));
Then create a MgSelection from it and the selection string
MgSelection selection = new MgSelection(map, selString);

Hi all,
I've just installed Mapguide on a Windows Server 2003.
On that server I've also installed .net 2.0, 3.5 and 4.0 (I have application
on 4.0).
I've also installed Maestro and when I try to browse any resource directly
(layer, map, layout) from Maestro I get:

Hello Mapguide OS users,
I'am struggeling to open a new window/tab through a hyperlink dropdownlist
in the taskplane. Regardless whether I use target "_blank" the hyperlink
still opens in the taskplane instead of a new tab/window outside the viewer

Yes. The Google content should come directly from Google. A 10 mbit line
would provide 200 kbytes/sec to 5 concurrent users. That should be more than
sufficient. Enabling content compression for IIS/Apache will also reduce
bandwidth requirements for the initial fusion load.

Trevor
We are now using fusion with open layers a lot of the time so I hope that the
google images will be served from elsewhere and therefore won't count as
bandwidth from our server or does it route through our server anyway???
Would a 10mbit/ second line be adequate for most of the time? We probably
Hello Brad,
It depends on the data you are serving. For example, 50 to 100 kbytes/sec per
concurrent user should be sufficient to handle vector maps similar to
Sheboygan. You may need more bandwidth for maps displaying raster data. Using
PNG8 and JPG will improve bandwidth usage. PNG8 vecto
Good Day! Can anybody tell me what band width for internet access is needed
for Mapguide Enterprise? I am trying to decide how big of a line to order
from my internet service provider. I would like to be able to serve about
15 concurrent users, maximum. The users would be mostly just browsing
John,
have you copied all dll files from mapviewernet\bin directory to your \bin
directory project?
I think so

I am trying to run the dotnetviewersample project using Visual Studio 2010
and I keep getting the error "Could not load file or assembly

"An attempt was made to load a program with an incorrect format."

That's a killer argument...
I'm just advocating a solution which is dead simple

I think that viewers should be not coupled with mapguide, so that when a new
release comes out, we can upgrade the core only without waiting for viewers
bugs being resolved.
