Autodesk now uses AIMS, could we revert to just
MapGuide as the product name?
MapGuide Open Source doesn't exactly roll off the tongue
Do we need a RFC for such a change?

I think a product name change is a waste of developer cycles that are better
spent on more productive things.

Maybe that is true, when Autodesk realizes "IMS" has the same connotation as
"Ford Pinto" or "Datsun 200B", it may revert back to MapGuide.
