Probably because FDO 3.8 introduces no new APIs since 3.7, so the provider
dlls technically work

Is this a 64-bit Ubuntu? If so, you are treading in untested waters.
The 32-bit Ubuntu build of MapGuide *requires* a 32-bit Ubuntu. This is what
we produced the MapGuide binaries from and tested it on. If you are running
the 32-bit build in a 64-bit environment, at the very least you need x86

If you don't want to upgrade MGOS 2.4 (or AIMS 2013 for that matter) and you
want to use large SDF files, I have found that this works for me:
1. Back up the following files on the server (C:\Program
Files\OSGEO\MapGuide\Server\Fdo\ )
• SDFProvider.dll
• SDFMessage.dll
2. Download the

the command sudo apt-file search libexslt.so returns me
/usr/lib/debug/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libexslt.so.0.8.15 or the other
modules are in /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/

Try this:
sudo apt-file search libexslt.so
This should list the packages (hopefully only one) that contain this
particular file.
Then just apt-get install the package in question.

Hi team, I have a map running nicely if I load it through Maestro 5.04b using
the view in browser option.
If however I go to IIS-7 in Windows &, I cant get the session to start using
the default.aspx as the default document. (yes, I have moved it to top of
tree and it isnt inherited)
