I think the machine (where your MapGuide Server is running) can't actually
reach that particular WMS server (geodienste-sachsen). Do you have some
firewall/network configuration on there that might prevent this from
happening?

I think this is because while the map viewer is loading for the first time,
the mouse pointer might have been idle enough in the viewport that that it
sends a QUERYMAPFEATURES request for tooltip information. Since the map
viewer is still loading, the map width and height is still undefined

I only get that message when I attempt to run certain FCGI or REST calls on a
RuntimeMap in a session that has not had GETDYNAMICMAPOVERLAY run with these
settings..Otherwise I have never seen the error.
Are you accidently creating multiple sessions?

My map is created by the openlayers api. So the map image is created by the operation: GETDYNAMICMAPOVERLAYIMAGE. And the properties are all set.

session and set scale and width and height before you can use many of the
other FCGI/REST calls on that session.
