Finally i did a "up2date install doxygen" and "up2date expat-dev" and i have
no error to build and to install
when i start ./mgserver.sh i can read few lignes ending by server
started
the apache, php, login is ok
i have to go further in my tests with the mapagent
#x27;s why i am here asking for help on my specific install.

I have many difficulties to build MGOS 1.1.0 on a RHEL 4, i use the GCC
4.0.2.
I am at the last step, "make install" of the mgserver and my error is : ld
cannot find -lexpat
I have to configure without python and the make (step before) send me an
error message about doxygen.
Any suggestion i
Why don't you install the recomanded GCC and compile mapguide with it with an
export CC=/path to gcc dir you want to use
before doing the build.

.27 under /usr/local/mapguideopensource/lib
.27.0 under the same directory
and
.25
.25.0
under
/usr/local/fdp-3.2.0/lib

The hardware is the same on both computer.
My mgos server is compiled in debug mode, does anybody knows the
performance's difference with a release compiled mode?
Is there a defaut config to change after linux install?
